Electrical Works – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply ONLY to electrical works carried out by Ground Electrical.
For renewables works, please request our renewables-specific Terms & Conditions via our contact page.

1. Introduction

These Terms govern electrical services provided by Ground Electrical (“we”, “us”) to the client (“you”). By instructing us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide electrical installation, maintenance, repair, inspection, and testing services as agreed in the quote or contract.

3. Quotes

All quotes are valid for 30 days and must be accepted in writing. Prices may change if unforeseen issues arise.

4. Access & Scheduling

You must provide safe and clear access to the work area. Delays caused by restricted access or unsafe conditions may result in additional charges.

5. Payments

A deposit of up to 30% may be required, with the outstanding balance due on completion. Payments must be made within 7 days. Late payments may incur statutory interest.

6. Changes to Work

Any changes must be agreed in writing and may result in additional costs.

7. Warranty & Liability

We provide a 12-month warranty on parts and labour. This does not cover misuse, third-party damage, or external factors. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.

8. Health & Safety

We comply with all health and safety regulations. You must inform us of any known hazards. We may stop work if conditions are unsafe.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate with 14 days’ written notice. Payment remains due for work already completed.

10. Disputes

Disputes will be handled amicably where possible. If unresolved, they may be referred to mediation or arbitration through our competent persons scheme (NAPIT).

11. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
